"This is our third stay at the hotel. We enjoy it for it's charm, location and accessibility to Mendocino, however, the restaurant is not a good value. The food is mediocre and pricey. There are a lot of great restaurants in the area but, we get lazy and comfortable and dine "in" at the Heritage House restaurant. We hope that it improves."

"Restaurant food was not good with an expensive price. Sent back first steak because it was overcooked...the second was not good at all. We were given the worst room in the inn...pipes rattled loud "as a locomotive" earky in the morning when other guests showered. We were offered a "20% discount" on a better room. I had to "make a scene" before they offered a better room at the same price, or to fix the problem."
